Multi-Agency Coordination: Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Workshop

An Emergency Operations Center provides a central location from which government at any level can provide interagency coordination and executive decision making in support of the incident response. This workshop provides attendees the opportunity to understand the critical role of the Emergency Operations Center in support of an emergency response.

The purpose of the Emergency Operations Center Workshop is to improve the operational capabilities within the participating municipality and to enhance the ability to manage emergencies through preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation.

The Emergency Operations Center Workshop provide locals government officials and key staff an opportunity to increase their knowledge of emergency management procedures and their local emergency management system and plan.

In support of this goal, the Emergency Operations Center Workshop will be designed to accomplish these measurable and verifiable objectives:
